California Soul
A Fine Art Exhibit

In "California Soul" multimedia artist, Lezlie Kussin, utilizes paints, textiles and found objects to create a unique perspective on the California Landscape. Her focus on textures, colors and content result in pieces that are often whimsical and fun, yet. For example, "The Picker" features a laborer toiling in the fields amid vibrant California fields. Layered in the scene, with head down, the Picker manages to capture the imagination.
Lezlie Kussin has been exhibiting her art in California galleries since the mid 1980s. She has her BFA in art and education from CCAC and her MA in sculpture from CSUN. Besides being an artist she is a wife, mother of 2, and an art teacher to children and adults. Her portfolio can be found at http://withazdesigns.com/home.html
